The first 16 weeks of a puppy’s life are considered by dog experts to be the most crucial period for creating a well socialized, confident dog. During this timeframe, it is critical to expose puppies to a wide variety of sights, sounds, smells and sensations. Puppies who miss out on these experiences often never learn how to be comfortable in unfamiliar settings or situations, and are much more likely to develop anxiety, become fearful and/or aggressive later in life.

We believe in setting puppies up for success from the day they become a member of your family, which is why we offer the Puppy Nursery, a program specifically created for puppies under 1 year old.

Vaccine Requirements:

• Proof of vaccination must be received before your puppy’s first day. Puppies will not be allowed to participate in Nursery School without proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian
• Puppies must be at least 12 weeks of age before coming to Townhouse.
• The following vaccinations are required for puppies aged 12-16 weeks: Rabies Vaccine, Two rounds of DHPP, 1 round of Bordetella
• Proof of vaccinations should be submitted before or at their first day. Puppies may not attend Nursery School without proof of vaccinations
• Leptospirosis vaccination requirement is waived for puppies under four months of age
• ALL puppies, regardless of age, must have a negative fecal (ova, parasites, and Giardia)

*No assessment or evaluation required for dogs graduating into daycare program at 16 weeks
